Another Open Book in 2016
We are excited to announce that in February 2016 the second iteration of AN OPEN BOOK will open The College of the Desert’s Marks Art Center in Palm Desert, CA!
Together with the Marks Center staff, and our aesthetic education partners at The McCallum Theatre, we are developing a program that follows the model we explored in Kalamazoo, catered to the possibilities and considerations of bringing this kind of project to the Palm Springs area. AN OPEN BOOK is an experiment, and with each version concepts are tested, and new ideas are generated. We are still finding out the value and impact of this project, so we’re grateful for another opportunity to watch it in action.
We look forward to sharing the process with you along the way! Many thanks for your interest and support.
Best,
Barbara and Sophia
